As a fine arts photographer my art in black and white and in color decorated homes and offices. For several years as a photojournalist, my work received numerous awards for photography and reporting from Colorado Press Women.

Publications include: Tropicalia, The Denver Post, The Marathoner, News-Press, Christian Science Monitor and World Wide Seniors, an online weekly. I also was co-producer and co-anchor of the FM radio program La Lucha Sigue—The Fight Continues, biweekly Latin American news and views.

My active professional memberships include NLAPW SW Florida Branch, Gulf Coast Writers Association, Boulder Media Women, and AROHO Retreat Network, the name borrowed from Virginia Woolf…..”A woman needs A Room Of Her Own and money if she is to write.” She was and is correct.

I don’t own a TV. When not reading or writing, I kayak, garden, hike, bike, snowshoe, travel (my favorite), and practice yoga. With family and friends I enjoy films, concerts, theater, good food and laughter. Home is in Colorado and Florida.

If you want to know about my earlier life, pick up a copy of Taste Life Twice. I’ve been told by several people that they skipped a night’s sleep and read right through to the end.
